NEWINGTON - The six Northwest Conference schools that applied to the Central Connecticut Conference officially were accepted Thursday by the league's policy board.

NEWINGTON - The six Northwest Conference schools that applied to the Central Connecticut Conference officially were accepted today by the league's policy board.

Connecticut authorities say a former Simsbury High School student has been arraigned on sexual assault charges after fleeing two years ago to his father's home in the Caribbean.

Eric Gustavson began his tenure at Marianapolis Prep fresh out of college. Twenty-seven years later, Gustavson is still a member of the faculty and administration of the Thompson school, as well as still being its head soccer coach.
